The Mom is very sad

I probably did it this time.
The Mom is sitting around with the water coming out of her eyes. She took Xia in the car today, and didn't come back with her.
The Mom said she had to take her back to the cool foster family that Xia was staying with.
Because of me.
I guess Xia was ok, but I wasn't a very good big sister. In fact, I was pretty bad. See, Xia had some food, and I wanted it even though it wasn't mine. So we had a fight.
And she had a toy, and I wanted it even though it wasn't my toy. So I started another fight.
Worst of all, she was getting love and belly rubs from MY The Mom. So I had to fight again. Only this time one of us sort of bit The Mom. The Mom separated us, but I kept laying in front of Xia's crate.
I don't know why. The Mom says she just brought out the worst in me, making me all nasty and bad.
So, I'm going to go and see if I can lick The Mom's face and cheer her up. This may take some time, so I probably won't be back to blog for a while.
That is if The Mom ever lets me blog again.

Oh Dakota! I am sooo sorry it did not work between you and Xia. I know how that selfish thing can be. Even when I was the new kid, I required the most attention and don't like it if any other dog has mom and dad's attention, or toys and stuff. Mom and dad had to work real hard with me, and still do when I get snarky with the others. I know Xia will find another home who will love her as she needs.

Hugs to your mom!

We are so sorry Xia did not work out with you. She is such a nice pup, we're sure she'll find a hope for her.
You better give you mom lots of kisses and do the eye thing that says I'm sorry. That works too.
Husky Hugs and Kisses to you and The Mom.

Dakota, and The Mom,

I know how much The Mom wanted it to work out between the both of you, but sometimes we just don't like somehusky for no reason. Just like the humans like some people and don't like others, that happens to us too.

I'm sure Xia will find her fur-ever home in a place where she and the other dogs like each other, and Dakota, there is a friend for you out there that you will like, you will find him/her when the time is right, or you can just snuggle with The Mom and let her know that its ok, these things happen for a reason, and she will see eventually that you are always right.

Oh Dakota! Please don't beat yourself up - Sometimes those girls can be very difficult. Just ask Pandora and Nika the two girls I lived with when in foster care!

Sometimes the things we want soo bad don't work out. However, everything ends up working out in the long run. So pick yourself up and give your hu-mom a kiss.. and remind her that everything will be okay.

Woo Dakota! Tia and I are sorry that Xia did not work out with your family. Your mom did what was best for you both and Xia will find a furever home that will work best for her. Don't feel bad. I am sending you and your mom lots of kisses!
Hugs,
Sitka

Awww, please tell your mom that I send her face licks! I think most Huskies can react that way when a new dog comes in to their home. When my cousin Amber stayed with us for a week, my mom fed is each in our crates since we can both be food guardy, and picked up all of the toys since I can be possessive of my toys. We all have our quirks.

Hey Dakota,

Don't be too hard on yourself - sometimes these things happen, you just love your mom SO much that you didn't want to share.
I am sure Xia will find her furever home soon.
Big hugs to you and your mum.
Love
Opy

That just means there is a better sister out there for you. I tried to kick Opie out of our house, but it ended up backfiring and dogmom was mad at me more than him. So he got to stay... and so did I. We're bestest buds now... most of the time.

I really wouldn't like it if my Human brought in another dog. Especially if it were a puppy. I don't like sharing my Human with any dog!

Hey, hey Dakota! Just checking in to tell you and the Mom that we're thinking about you. We know you tried. Not all pups are the right fit - we totally understand that!
We love you guys and hope you're doing well!
